The Project
This paving project is a 3.5 kilometre reconstruction and paving project between Township Road 552 and Highway 37. The road is currently an unpaved gravel road that provides a link between Highway and Cardiff and Cardiff Park.
Project Scope
The project will include converting the gravel road to a fully paved structure, realignment of the curve on Range Road 251 at the Highway 37 intersection and the intersection improvements as required by Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors.
What This Means to You
Construction will start early spring 2026 with a target completion date of September 15 weather permitting. Residents living on Range Road 251in the construction will be notified prior to construction.
Project Updates
During the winter, the design was finalized and buried utility locations were identified with no conflicts.
