The Project
Over the years, sections of Rge. Rd. 251 were treated with various products as part of a trial, while another trial on subgrade stabilization was also carried out. This stretch of road has been challenging to maintain, but now funding is approved for a full base and pavement repairs.
The Scope of Work Involved
The proposed reclamation limits for Rge. Rd. 251 are from Twp. Rd. 554 south to Cardiff Park South.
Work involves
- hand patching,
- milling to remove the top layer of asphalt, and
- grader patching work.
In 2024, the proposed reconstruction limits are from Twp. Rd. 554 south to the Cardiff Park entrance and the park’s roads. These roads will be reconstructed and paved at this time.
